XGN2-40.5 box type fixed metal enclosed switchgear (referred to as XGN2-40.5 switchgear) of the company can meet various technical requirements of the power system in the medium voltage field. The main switch adopts the vacuum circuit breaker of ZN12-40.5 series, the isolation switch adopts GN27-35 series. The busbar system is the single busbar.

XGN2-40.5 switchgear has perfect "five prevention" locking function and is a power distribution device with advanced technology, stable performance, reasonable structure, convenient use, safety and reliability.

The overall structure of XGN2-40.5 switchgear is assembled, with small volume and independent separation between functional rooms, which can limit the range of faults. The cabinet is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel plates that have been bent and assembled multiple times, with high strength, good stability, no welding deformation, and beautiful appearance. The cabinet surface spraying process adopts advanced electrostatic powder automatic spraying technology, which has the advantages of beautiful finish, strong adhesion, corrosion resistance, high hardness, anti-aging, excellent light-protection and color retention.

a. The cabinet is assembled by bolt-on connection, with high mechanical strength.

b. The breaker room panel is equipped with emergency opening button with protection, which can achieve emergency opening operation without opening the cabinet door.

c. Comprehensive mechanical five-prevention interlocking device can effectively prevent the accidents of electrical mis-operation.

d. Remote control/local operation can be achieved by the control switch.

e. The integrated operating mechanism effectively meets the requirements of "operation – interlocking - self-locking" for isolation switches and grounding switches, while achieving mandatory mechanical locking with the front door. The back door can be equipped with electromagnetic locks, program locks, or microcomputer five-proof padlocks according to user needs.

f. It can be combined with the five-anti-lock locking of microcomputer. By installing locks on primary equipment such as breakers, isolation switches, and grounding switches etc., the operation can be forcibly locked, making the operation safer and more reliable. 

g. The secondary wire is placed in the metal duct, which can effectively prevent accidents in the primary system from spreading to the secondary system.

h. The double-sided maintenance doors are set in the cabinet. The front door can maintain the busbar room, small busbar room, circuit breaker room, and instrument room, while the rear door can maintain the cable room.

i. The double shielded wall sleeve effectively suppresses the thermal and electrochemical breakdown of solid insulation under the action of AC electric field, improves the uniformity of the electric field, and enhances the safety and reliability of the equipment.
